Staffan Teste, Bildombudsmannen AB, works as Picture ombudsman for Nordic countries. If you have problem to receive money from a buyer we can help you. We are involved in infringements of pictures owned by small copyright owners to big rights holders and picture agencies. As long as you own the copyright we will help you.
Since 1977 we have helped several hundred copyright owners to receive money from a few thousand crowns to half a million. During late 90-ties we helped 18 picture agencies to receive about one million crowns from a collecting society. We help copyright owners and picture buyers to write fair contracts. We have also helped models to receive what they should and helped people, who have been unlawfully used in advertising.
Teste is also working for BLF the Swedish organisation for photo companies and agencies in Sweden, second largest organisation of that kind in Europe and a member of Cepic.
Staffan Teste has experience in International law in his position as a former member of the board of the European Picture agency organisation Cepic. He has represent Cepic in the World Intellectual Organisation, WIPO and in EU-hearings.
Companies outside Sweden use Bildombudsmannen to help them with their problems in the picture world. Bildombudsmannen represent members of Picscout www.picscout.com on Nordic countries. Staffan Teste is member of an International law discussion group in Cepic. Every year lawyers from that group meet at Cepic conference in Europe.

I somras (efter den 1/7) var det en helikopter som på låg höjd började hoovra över min tomt och mitt hus, som är belägen ganska ensligt ute i skogen..
Med hjälp av en kikare jag hade tillgänglig kunde jag se att det i helikoptern satt en person med kamera som fotograferade ner mot mig och huset.
Själv tyckte jag det kändes ganska obehagligt och kränkande, så jag viftande med armarna i ett försök att markera att han skulle flyga vidare, vilket dock inte skedde förrens efter ett par minuter.
Som en parantes i sammanhanget kan jag också tillägga ett ljudet från helikoptern skrämde slag på några av mina husdjur, så att dom sprang till skogs, och kom tillbaka först dagen efter.
I dag ringde det på dörren, och där stod fotografen från helikoptern och ville sälja bilder han tagit på mig och mitt hus.
Då uppstod en diskussion gällande tillvägagångssättet, och han hävdade att han hade fullt laglig rätt att fotografera in på min tomt på det viset han gjort.
Som jag förstått så har han brutit mot alla de 3 grundreglerna i den nya lagen:
– fotograferingen ska vara dold (Hade jag inte haft kikare tillgänglig hade jag inte vetat om att han fotograferade)
– ske utan tillstånd (Jag hade inte gett något föregående tillstånd, och jag försökte även markera mitt ogillande till fotograferingen när jag upptäckt vad som pågick.)
– ske i privat miljö, eller miljö som kan anses som privat. (En privat tomt mitt ute i skogen torde vara att betrakta som "privat miljö", eller??)
Så min fråga är kort och gott:
Är det verkligen OK att fotografera på det viset han gjorde?
